Menopause champions, sometimes called menopause ambassadors or sponsors, are people within an organisation who confidently signposting or provide appropriate and empathetic support to anyone who may need it in their workplace.
Who can be a menopause champion?
Anyone can be a Menopause Champion! They can be of any gender and don't need to be experiencing menopause themselves. Ideal candidates will have some experience helping someone through menopause - a partner, mother, sister, or friend. They also don’t need to be managers or from HR or Occupational Health. The choice is up to the organisation and the volunteers.
